Accredit a Dyslexia/Dyscalculia course

How to accredit a course

The Accreditation process

Step 1

Complete the form and email to accreditation@bdadyslexia.org.uk.

We will then send you:

  • the Accreditation Checklist,
  • Guidelines for BDA Course Accreditation
  • criteria for the accreditation/s you are applying for

Step 2

Once you have familiarised yourself with the required criteria and are satisfied that your course can meet these, please request:

  • A payment link/invoice
  • A SharePoint link where you can upload your documents
  • The BDA Course Accreditation Evidence Document which you will need to complete
  • The relevant course criteria matrix/matrices

Step 3

A course reviewer will look at your paperwork within six weeks of submission, and payment, and let you know if any further evidence is needed. When they are satisfied that the course meets the appropriate BDA criteria, they will recommend that it is accredited. This will be no later than 15 working days after you submit the final pieces of evidence that have been requested. This will be confirmed in writing and a Certificate of Course Accreditation will be issued for four years.
